New Family

I've gained a surrogate Mother-in-law, I feel. A German woman that gave birth to Shawn's brother, Andy. She's a wonderful person. Classy and fun, and light hearted. She's giving and sweet and I love her to death already.

Andy is a doll, a teddy bear, and a gentleman. He's got a very sexy German accent and he's going to have alot of girls fall in love with him. He blew through the cash today. Moving to another country is expensive. He came with hardly nothing more then the cash is his account, and the few clothes in a suitcase. His dog and cat will be here in a few months, shipped when its cooler outside.

Andy and Theresa flew in a day earlier then what they told everyone. I think they were tricking Jesse's family so that they didn't miss anything. As it was there was a meeting set for the same day as what everyone THOUGHT he was gonna be here. He would have missed it. Since he was early, and had his money right away, things were settled and everything is done. Debt is paid, and Shawn has his part, and everyone is happy. Unless there was something in the works from that side, that got foiled, but we may never know. The big stuff was taken out of the house a while back, but was returned without question before the meeting. So perhaps everyone really was acting kosher, so to speak. Except the gun safe and the jewelry and guns in it. we never saw that after Jesse's passing.

The bank for Shawn and I want to hold the cashier's check for a week to make sure its going to clear. Which is stupid because I thought a cashier's check was verified by the bank writing it. Its not a personal check. Its more like a paycheck from work.

Other then the house I think we're going to work on the cars a bit to make them run better. Shawn's is acting a bit funny. Mine has a loose belt and is running a tad weird as well. Other then that (and maybe a small gift for me, so I can document the process) the money is going into the house in full.

I plan to get started within the week. Call around and find out what can be done about the containers. I need to decide on a floor plan. Shawn keeps telling me "Oh whatever you want". But I know that he's gonna blame me too if he doesn't like something.

I don't are what they say about us women, but men are very contradictory too. I think they have to make sure no one can blame them for stuff that goes wrong. So they weave and plan everything they do around other people that can be blamed if need be. Ah well. I'm having fun. I missed out on the wedding plans that alot off girls dream of. This seems to be more important to me anyways and I'm having just as much fun with the house project then I would have ever had if I did a big wedding. I guess I have a few priorities straight.

On another note, I've been off the meds for a few weeks now (birth control) and called the study place in Chicago. I should be getting a package soon with some instructions for blood work they want done. I'll start on my PCOS blog with all those updates as well.
