I've started a new job. I'll be working for the Geek Squad at a call center. Its in a "top secret location" and if I told you where it was I'd have to kill you. LOL
I've been training in the class for 2 weeks now. Monday will start hands on in what is called "A-Bay". I don't know what that means. I already have my schedual and I know who's team I'll be on. If I'm good enough I can get promoted real quick. I hope I can get on the observastion teams. That would totally cool to spy on people like that. HaHA.
In the area of town I'm in there are huge amounts of blacks and I'm on 1 of 4 white people in my class of 20. My teacher is black too. He just got promoted as well and we were his first class. Its alright for the most part but there's drama all the time about what he said and didn't say. I got called out twice on crap. People have been written up. One girl got written up for "being to negative" when at the same time I can name 2 other people that were worse, but for whatever reason were on the teacher's like list.
Without going into great detail I will say this. I'm glad I get to finally get out on the floor and get some hands on. I can't wait.
The other day I had to relieve the stress of one of those "called out" instances by couponing. (See other blog with today's date).
Anyways, take care guys.

Update
Sunday, July 6, 2008
4th of July
Dad has a boat. And no I'm not one of those spoiled girls. My brother, Tony came in on leave from FL for the weekend. He spent most of his time with his friends. He kind of ditched on us family, but there wasn't enough time for everyone. But we did get to go out on the boat for the fireworks. We sat on the lake with 50 other boats and watched 2 neighborhoods shoot of works. It was very cool.
On the way back to the dock there was a boat full of drunk *insert race comment here-preferably consisting of the bad apple version that any race contains* idiots that came up from behind us, hollered at us like WE were about to hit them and tied off to the dock before we could. Usually you're suppose to go up, get someone off to get the truck then LEAVE and get out of the way. But of course this type of person *see race comment above* doesn't realize that OMGsh!! There are OTHER people in this world??? No way! I'm not the only one and perhaps I might be offended if that white man over there did that to me. Hmm go figure. Whatever. So he doesn't leave until his truck comes up to the dock.
But the works were beautiful. Tony is suppose to leave today (Sun) and I left yesterday while he was gone. I didn't get to say bye and hug him, but perhaps he wouldn't have cared. I always feel this huge chasm between me and my male relatives. Every one of them. Kinda makes me feel geeky, like the give me a wide berth. Oh well. It was still good to see him.
Take care Tony!
